The sun was out, and Kyle had promised to spend the day with Lily. Lily was his best friend, and a month ago he told her he loved her, and she repeated it back. Nothing had happened after that, to their relationship. He just had to get that off his chest, as she was going through a rough patch and he needed to show he was there for her. He had offered to let her stay in his apartment as well, and it was a nice addiction to his quant apartment.
Kyle had texted Lily to meet him at the aquarium in ten minutes. He had used his magic and set up a special tour for them, something most of the public couldn’t see. He wanted to have fun with Lily and have her take her mind off of the stuff going on through her life.
The aquarium was quite, except for the few cries from little children walking around, gripping their parent’s hands. Kyle waited on the bench near the door, instead of being past the check-in point as he had Lily’s ticket for her with him. He would have drove with her here, but since he set up the special tour, and that was a surprise.
Wearing a button down, fitting denim shirt, Kyle rubbed his hands together and waited. He wore jeans and Vans, as he tapped his foot. Ky was no style expert, and he knew that denim normally didn't go with denim, but he didn't care. It wasn't like anyone would hold him accountable for the "fashion disaster." He could just say that he didn't do that and continue with his life. Kyle hated waiting, but he had no option. He scratched his hair and looked at the ticket and smiled to himself, wondering if Lily would like the suprise.
